Politeness and Daily Use of Language in Formal Context Among EFL Kurdish Learners: Soran University as an Example

Language is regarded as a method that people use to exchange ideas with each other, and it considered the primary source of communication among human beings because holds profound role in comprehending world around beyond them. To speaks graciously avoid face-threatening acts, language users are required politeness strategies. This study aims find out strategies which employed by Kurdish English learners, at Soran University, well differences using these terms gender social status. Data collected through structured questionnaire consists five questions. The sample 40 EFL non-randomly selected, Faculty Arts/ Department during academic year 2020-2021. Further, this paper adopted descriptive quantitative for data collection explanation.
